Jane has asked Hamish to marry her ever since 4th grade.
The first time she proposed, Hamish was 7 and she was 8. Hamish said “Maybe.” But that was the only time he ever said “Maybe.” Every request after that he said “No” due to having a conversation about marriage with his father, Sherlock.
